For Whom We Encounter (Various Artists, CD, Kandala Records, 2011)

Here comes the KRVA02! We asked some friends from Hong Kong joining us this time. They are Edwin Lo, Orgasm Denial, Your God’s Talk Box, and 鴉. Lo is the curator of the sound label Rabbit Travelogue and does many works of field recordings. Orgasm Denial has released some records with noisicians such as Torturing Nurse and Astro. He also released a split Lovedoll Desperation at KR. YGTB made noise and performed with Kylie Minoise and Orgasm Denial in 2009. 鴉 (Mr. Crow) does dark ambient and power electronics. He has many projects like Hatred In Eyes and also runs a label Assembly of Hatred.

In the part of Taiwanese artists, Shih-Li Chao studied violin but now uses computers to compose electronic music. 0xA (a.k.a. Chun Lee) is a software engineers and a member of GOTO10. He is good at remaking some sound devices such as buddha machine. The other artists used to appear in KRVA01: yingfan, wolfenstein, Tsunamivski Pi, Caught Up In, and You-Sheng Zhang. Although there are many artists devoting themselves to these kinds of sound in the world, few people doing them in Hong Kong and Taiwan. In terms of it, this compilation could be treated as an archive recording some rare sounds in these places.
